HOUSTON – January 28, 2022 – PickleJar, an emerging live entertainment and cashless payment platform for artists and content creators, today announced the installation of the enhanced PickLoungeTM Camera System and Venue Managed Services at the Texas Country Music Association (TCMA) Event Center in Carthage, TX. An already established PickLounge debuting up-and-coming music talent in collaboration with the PickleJar app, the TCMA now has newly installed remote accessed moving high-definition cameras to stream all events directly to the PickleJar mobile app as well as PickleJar+, a streaming channel available on Roku TV, AppleTV+, and Amazon Fire TV. The first event utilizing this technology will feature an acoustic song swap with Meredith Crawford and Garth Lagrone on January 29, 2022.
“Establishing the TCMA Event Center as a PickLoungeTM back in October has given us the opportunity to build an incredible relationship with this organization,” says Kristian Barowsky, PickleJar president. “Our goal is to provide additional venues with the PickLounge Camera System and Venue Managed Services and we are grateful to have the TCMA Event Center as the first to showcase our efforts.”
The agreement between these two organizations comes following PickleJar’s successful, free, digital livestream of the 2021 Texas Country Music Weekend, hosted by TCMA. The TCMA Event Center continue to feature “tip-worthy” artists multiple times each month in their PickLoungeTM but with the added ease and convenience of the PickLounge Camera System and Venue Managed Services, streamlining the management and livestreaming of performances. PickLounge events at the venue will also provide opportunities for fans to use the PickleJar iOS app to send cashless gratuity tips, “notes”, song requests, shoutouts, beneficiary donations, and more to the artist, allowing fans to directly engage with the artist while they are performing on stage.
“TCMA is about supporting artists and our partnership with PickleJar helps us do more for them by enabling tipping through their app in real-time both onstage and off,” says Linda Wilson, TCMA President. “The PickleJar+ channel features local artists and performances and we are thankful that PickleJar just installed live stream cameras at the TCMA Event Center to capture live performances at TCMA!”
The goal of the PickLoungeTM is to combine music, artist performances and progressive forms of entertainment, technology, and marketing to activate consumers and create a powerful social impact on both a local and national level.
