NASHVILLE – September 13, 2021 – PickleJar, an emerging live entertainment and cashless tipping app, announced today their partner sponsor of the 52nd Nashville Film Festival taking place September 30 – October 6, 2021, in Nashville, TN. The 7-day event is hosted by NashFilm and places an emphasis on films with a heavy music influence. In its sponsorship role, the brand will activate attendees across many different platforms, showcasing the use of the PickleJar payments app to support to artists, film makers and musicians presenting at festival events. PickleJar will also lend support to the Festival’s on-site attendee engagement efforts and document the excitement and energy of Nashville Film Festival through “support-centric” video interviews to be featured on its PickleJar+ Channel.

“At PickleJar, we are passionate about creativity and inspiring future generations. It’s the driving force behind everyone on our team. It’s who we are,” said Jeff James, chief executive officer of PickleJar. “The Nashville Film Festival presents a unique opportunity for us to showcase our platform in support of the creative individuals who have made these films and music. Now fans, both in the audience and watching from the live streams, can easily give money as a show of their support – and, as always with PickleJar, these artists will keep 100%.”

This year’s annual festival will feature both in-person and virtual events with more than 150 new films, various screenings at venues throughout Nashville, Creators Conference panels, the annual music program, and more. Through this sponsorship, PickleJar will establish a major presence through presentations, promotional materials, happy hour/mixer events, and more. Notably, the PickleJar app will be used for attendees to cast their votes for the People’s Choice segment and will get to present the NashFilm Music Program, a key component of the festival that showcases the diverse music of Nashville to the film, television, and advertising sync communities to bring more opportunities to the Nashville area.

“Some of the most memorable songs in films have been written and performed by Nashville artists,” said Jason Padgitt, Nashville Film Festival Executive Director. “PickleJar’s sponsorship means that we can further highlight the incredible music used in films and the artists who brought it to life.”

PickleJar continues to add to their extensive list of capabilities as they introduce themselves to artists and fans worldwide. PickleJar is a suite of Artist-First technologies developed with a simple idea – “help others achieve the greatest value for their creative talents and visionary pursuits.” PickleJar’s gaming-inspired features give fans instant access to the performer through private direct messages and picture sharing – earning them loyalty rewards, achievement badges and exclusive “Daily Bonus” giveaways. Most importantly, artists receive 100% of funds tipped or sent by fans.
